Description
Porcelain Cobalt Blue Bottle by Richard Baxter
A unique porcelain bottle designed and made by potter, Richard Baxter.
The bottle has a wonderful tactile shape, with a cobalt blue matt glaze and a dark gold burnished effect embellishment around the neck and top.
This bottle is made using Limoges porcelain which is a very strong clay. It is fragile looking but durable too. It is, however, not intended for day to day domestic use and should not be placed in a dishwasher.
Richard Baxter is a professional potter, educated at Loughborough College of Art and Design.
Richard's artwork can be found all over the world , including some porcelain bowls in Stella McCartney's Hong Kong and Paris stores.
Richard sells at the Henry Moore Institute and exhibits all over the UK. There is even one of Richard's large bowls in Chelmsford Museum displayed alongside a Grayson Perry piece.
My blog has more information about Richard Baxter so why not take a look!
