Giddy Sprite Designs
Posted by Janet in New Products on Mar 25, 2015 .Fairly recently we discovered some fabulous products designed by Giddy Sprite. The designs are both simple and unique.
The coasters and clocks we have chosen to add to our site feature brilliant images on strong coloured backgrounds, and certainly make a statement.
The coasters and clocks are hand-printed in the Giddy Sprite studio in Devon. Like us they are passionate about UK made products.
Pusskin, the white cat design, was inspired by their very own cat. She was a rescued cat and came from the Axhayes Cats Protection League Shelter. She lives very happily at the Giddy HQ. Pusskin has also been joined by Tomsk, a black cat....

Posted by Janet in News on Feb 21, 2015 .
Just a quick blog to wish everyone a very Happy Chinese New Year.
It is the Year of the Sheep/Goat. Why not take a look at our lovely Herdy sheep! It is their special year after all.
There are 12 Chinese Zodiac animals and the Goat is 8th. The Goat's Lucky numbers are 2 and 7 and their lucky colours are red, purple and brown.
People who are born in the Year of the Goat have a calm and gentle personality. They are kind-hearted too, but quite reserved and quiet. They also have a strong creative side.
Valentine's Day
Posted by Janet in News on Feb 04, 2015 .
Soon Valentine's Day will be here - the most romantic day of the year! Saturday 14th February is not far away - in fact it is just around the corner!
Possibly the first record of Valentine's Day being associated with romance is in the poem "Parlement of Foules", written by Geoffrey Chaucer in 1382. It was to honour the first anniversary of the engagement of King Richard II to Anne of Bohemia.

("For this was on St.Valentine's Day, when every bird cometh here to choose his mate")
So why not have a look at the gifts we have selected, for...

Look who has now waddled onto our site? So excited to see them arrive in their fabulous welly boots. They don't mind a bit of rain or snow!! Puddle jumping is such fun when you are in your wellies! Although icy puddles are a bit more tricky!
These little baby ducks are all looking for a new home and somebody to love them.
They are all individual as each one is hand carved with a unique expression. Just too cute for words!!

Exciting news!! We are now stocking exquisite ceramic art by Richard Baxter.

I met Richard at an Art in Action event in Oxford and really admired his artwork. Then last week set off to find his studio on a beautiful, sunny autumn day, close to the sea, and could'nt resist buying a pot or two!
Richard has made approximately 100,000 pots so far! And he has sold his artwork to some very...
